Phlebotomy is the practice of withdrawing blood from a vein via venipuncture, used in hemodialysis, vascular access, and surgeries. It is practised by specially trained individuals called phlebotomists, clinical laboratory personnel, or nurses.

Inspire London College is pleased to offer all our phlebotomy students an opportunity. If you are looking for phlebotomy placement or advanced training to gain work experience, we can provide you with the best facilities, equipment and trainers.
Our Phlebotomist placement programme is a two to six months placement that allows you to work in a clinical setting environment. From your first day, you will develop key practical skills gaining practical experience under the supervision of an experienced phlebotomist/trainer.
All delegates must agree to have blood taken by fellow phlebotomist colleagues as well as taking others’ blood.
Note: This Phlebotomist Placement Programme is not part of our phlebotomy training. This is an optional programme for the newly trained Phlebotomist to gain extra practical experience.
Also, a live blood practical session (s) option is available if you like to gain extra clinical/practical experience.
