OTHM – Level 5 Extended Diploma in Business Management

To enrol in this qualification, learners should meet the following requirements:

• Be 18 years of age or above
• Hold a relevant Level 3 qualification or equivalent
• OR have GCE Advanced Level qualifications in two subjects or equivalent
• Mature learners (over 21) with relevant management experience (subject to approval by the admissions team)
• Have basic ICT skills and the ability to study independently
• Non-native English speakers must provide evidence of English language competency*

Assessment for the OTHM Level 5 Extended Diploma in Business Management takes place through coursework, allowing learners to demonstrate their knowledge in a practical and applied way. All units within this qualification are internally assessed by the Inspire London College and externally verified by OTHM. The qualification is criteria-referenced, meaning learners must demonstrate achievement of all learning outcomes by meeting the required assessment criteria. Assessors evaluate learner evidence and make formal judgements on overall performance to ensure consistent standards.

To achieve a pass in each unit, learners must provide sufficient evidence showing they have met all learning outcomes through coursework. Assessors must also maintain a clear record to support grading decisions. Learners are required to apply knowledge practically, demonstrating understanding through business-related tasks.
