How do I enrol for a distance learning course?

For enrolling on a distance learning course at Inspire London College, select a course from College’s course catalogue purchase straightway by hitting Add to the Basket button and pay at check Out.

Once we get the information on your course purchase, our admission team will contact you within 48 hours for courses registration and enrolment via email (Excluding weekends).

OR Fill out the application online form for enrolment. After receiving your application form, the admissions team will contact you and guide you for further steps.

Can I enrol if I’m a non-resident of the UK?

Inspire London College’s distance learning courses are open to international students from any geographical location as currently, we have students from more than 65+ countries; therefore, students from different regions of the world can enrol for online courses at ILC.

Do I receive a certificate after completing a course?

Upon successfully passing the course, the Learner can claim the Certificate of Completion from ILC (either in PDF format or Hardcopy) or Endorsed Certificate/Diploma from Training Qualifications UK an Ofqual regulated awarding organisation (Only Hardcopy) by paying the Certificate fee. (You can check the certificate fee on our website in the course description under Certificate TAB or by vising the page Fees & Pricing or at 3rd parties (reed.co.uk or Laimoon)’s websites under the course description section).

How can I get a replacement certificate?

A learner can claim a replacement certificate from ILC (either in PDF format or Hardcopy) or an Endorsed Certificate/Diploma (only Hardcopy) from Training Qualifications by paying the replacement Certificate fee + postage charges. If you like to get a replacement certificate, please contact our admissions team for further information.

When will the course start?

Unlike traditional education, distance learning courses are open throughout the year, and students can enrol anytime for any course.

Do I need to attend the classes or lectures?

As distance learning courses are provided online; therefore, there are no classes and lecture sessions for these professional courses.

As well as for classed based courses learners need to attend the classes or lectures.

Will I have a tutor?

Courses at Inspire London College are delivered with 100% online tutor support. Therefore, if during the studies you need support, you can directly contact your Online Tutor via email.

Are these courses are flexible?

All the courses offered by ILC are completely flexible as they offer a self-paced learning process at home or workplaces, and there are no specific deadlines for submitting an assignment.

How long will I have access to Inspire London College’s Moodle / VLE?

Learners will have access to VLE/Moodle up to 12 months from the date of enrolment. During this period, flexibility will be given to learners for completing the course at any time.

After the completion of the course and/or course maximum duration (12 months from the date of enrolment) the access to VLE/Moodle will be terminated without prior notice, and for further information/communication learners can contact via email.

If I can not complete the course within 12 months can I get an extension to complete my course?

Yes, If you have completed your course more than half you can apply for a course completion time extension with extra charges of £30 for 3 months. Please be informed that Inspire London College reserves the right to grant extensions to the course duration.

What happens if I fail an assignment?

It’s a very rare case that a student will not be able to pass an assignment as 100% online tutor support is available for the students. If something happens like that students can re-take their assignment without any extra charges for online courses /Qualifications only.

What happened if I fail my Final Test MCQs?

The learner will have to attempt the Final Test (online multiple-choice test – 2 attempts), if necessary, may attempt the test a third time at no extra cost. This applies to quiz based CPD courses and Endorsed courses only and does not apply to Video-Based CPD training & Class Based Training.

Is the Endorsed course recognised?

Yes, Inspire London College Offers Endorsed courses by Training Qualification UK (TQUK) under TQUK Endorsed ProvisionThis means that ILC has undergone an external quality check to ensure that the organisation and the courses it offers, meet certain quality criteria.

What is an endorsement?

Endorsement means that Inspire London College has designed and developed its courses and has gone through an external quality check by Training Qualification UK (TQUK) to ensure that the ILC and the courses it offers, meet the high standards quality criteria.

What is an ‘endorsed’ course?

An endorsed course is a skills-based course that has been checked over and approved by an independent awarding body. Endorsed courses are not regulated so do not result in a qualification.
Our skill-focused endorsed courses are specially designed to enhance skills. Take your career to the next level or possibly start out in an exciting new direction.

Is the endorsed course is Ofqual regulated qualification?

No, An Endorsed course is for personal and professional development or enhancement of skills, not a qualification. The completion of an Endorsed Course alone does not lead to an Ofqual regulated qualification.

Is Endorsed Credits or  ‘Credits’ are transferable to qualifications?

No,   Endorsed Course’s Credits are not transferable towards the further regulated qualifications, These Credits are the value of the endorsed course for personal and professional development.

What is Ofqual?

Ofqual (Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation) is a non-ministerial government department that regulates qualifications, exams and tests in England.

What is the Regulated Qualification Framework?

The Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) is the regulatory qualifications framework for England. Qualifications accepted for use by Ofqual are placed on the Register of Regulated Qualifications only.

What are Awarding bodies?

Awarding bodies are organisations that are empowered to ‘make awards’ or ‘award qualifications. In this case, we are offering different qualifications from 4 awarding bodies, 1) Training Qualifications UK, and 2) Qualfi Ltd. 3) ETA Awards 4. Laser Awards. All awarding bodies are Ofqual regulated. Most of our courses are endorsed by TQUK, and Ofqual Qualifications are awarded by Qualfi, TQUK, Laser Awards OTHM.

What are CPD Organisations?

CPD organisation are an independent organisation that provided accreditation for CPD course to ensure the quality of continuing professional development. Such CPD organisations do not fall under the national framework.

Who is Course/Training Provider?

The course/Training provider is the one who delivers the course or training to the learners through online platforms or classroom-based programmes. In this case, Inspire London College is the course provider.

What is the difference Between CPD Accredited Course, Endorsed Courses and Ofqual Qualifications

CPD Courses- CPD stands for Continuous Professional Development. CPD courses are meant for skill development or enhancing skills. CPD courses are developed by individuals or organisations. For instance, Our CPD courses are developed by us (Inspire London College) and accredited by independent awarding & accreditation bodies such as The CPD Certification Service, Step Ahead CPD Qualifications. CPD organisation checks and verifies the quality of course, and also assign the CPD points for each training or course. The CPD Accredited certificate of completion will be awarded by Inspire London College with a stamp/logo of CPD Organisation on it.

Endorsed Courses: The endorsed courses are also developed by the organisation, and approved by Ofqual regulated Awarding Body approves them after checking the quality. Our courses are endorsed by Training Qualification UK, which is Ofqual regulated awarding body. This means that Inspire London College has designed and developed its courses and has gone through an external quality check by Training Qualification UK (TQUK) to ensure that the ILC and the courses it offers to meet the high standards quality criteria. Endorsed Certificates are also awarded by the TQUK only in printed/hardcopy format.

Ofqual qualifications: The Ofqual qualifications are listed on the Regulated Qualification Framework (RQF), the UK qualification’s national framework.  Ofqual is a non-ministerial government department that regulates qualifications, exams and tests in England. In this case, courses are developed by awarding body and regulated by Ofqual. The certificate of completion is awarded by the Awarding Body with the regulated framework stamp.

Can I use Endorsed or CPD Accredited Course/certificate for Membership with any organisation?

We do not deal directly with any organisation for offering membership to our learners. However, You can enquire from the relevant organisation who you are seeking to get a membership on the basis of Endorsed or CPD Accredited Course. Usually, organisations accept the Ofqual Regulated Qualifications/Certificates for offering membership.
