Qualifi Level 3 Award in Education and Training

You are eligible if you fulfil the following criteria:

• First of all, you should be 19 years of age or above.
• You should have an understanding of Information Technology, as this is essential for inclusive teaching practice nowadays.
• Need to complete the Initial assessment.
• This Qualification is competence-based, so workplace assessment is required.
• Solid knowledge of the English Language.
• Learners who are non-native English speakers must have a minimum level of English language competency*

The Level 3 Award in Education and Training is ideal for beginners and those with some teaching experience. It helps improve understanding of inclusive learning, classroom environments, and assessment methods, while providing a strong foundation for a career or further qualifications in education and training.

Progression

Learners completing the Qualifi Level 3 Award in Education and Training can progress to:

• A Qualifi Level 4 qualification.
• The Qualifi Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training.
• Direct employment in a related education or training role. 

This qualification is officially accredited on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) with the Qualification Accreditation Number (QAN) (603/5680/7). This number appears on your certificate, confirming that the qualification is recognised and valid. Each unit also has its own RQF code, ensuring transparency and compliance. QUALIFI is an Ofqual-regulated awarding body (RN5160) that ensures high standards and quality in its courses. Inspire London College delivers these recognised qualifications, helping learners build careers in health and social care.

All units within the Qualifi Level 3 Award in Education and Training are internally assessed by Inspire London College and externally verified by Qualifi to ensure quality and consistency. This course uses an assignment-based assessment method. Learners complete one written assignment for each unit, with no final exam required. Full assignment guidance, structured templates, and ongoing tutor support are provided, and all assessments are included in the course fee. As part of the assessment, learners complete a microteaching task, where they plan and deliver a 15-minute teaching session and submit a recorded presentation to the tutor.

Qualifi designs assignments around vocational and education-focused scenarios to support learner progression. Each assignment addresses the unit’s learning outcomes (LOs) and assessment criteria (ACs) and requires learners to apply key educational theory. Learners support their answers using examples from real organisations, case studies, or relevant work experience where available, ensuring a clear link between theory and teaching practice.

Upon successfully completing the assignment and being graded as Pass by the internal and external verifier, you will be issued a recognised Certificate of Completion from Qualifi Ltd.
