This qualification has a minimum of 48 GLH, and learners must achieve a minimum of 12 credits, including 3 credits from mandatory units and 9 credits from optional units.

Requirements

Learners must meet the following requirements:

  • There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification.
  • Learners must be able to demonstrate the requirements of the qualification and have access to the required assessment opportunities and relevant resources.
  • An initial assessment activity must be carried out to ensure learners are capable of achieving the level they will be studying before enrolment.
  • Learners must be in a position to access and complete all required assessments as part of the qualification.
  • Non-native English speakers must demonstrate a minimum level of English language competency*.

The NOCN Level 3 Award in Education and Training is assessed through both knowledge-based and skills-based tasks. Assessment materials are only available to approved providers and are accessed via NOCN’s vLearn platform. Existing providers have direct access to vLearn, while new providers must contact their NOCN Business Development Manager. If you wish to obtain a printed certificate, also known as a hard copy, you will need to apply directly through the NOCN Learner Hub. The cost of the physical certificate is set by NOCN and is payable through the portal at the time of ordering.
