Start Your Journey as a Qualified Vocational Assessor.

The Qualifi Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement supports learners who want to become qualified assessors in vocational and workplace settings. This Ofqual-recognised qualification introduces the core principles of assessment, including planning, observing, questioning, and providing feedback. It is suitable for individuals starting an assessor role or those seeking career progression in training and assessment.

The qualification requires learners to achieve 15 credits from three mandatory units, with 150 Total Qualification Time (TQT) and 84 Guided Learning Hours (GLH). After completion, learners can progress to advanced qualifications such as the Qualifi Level 4 Award in Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice.

The qualification develops core competence across key areas of assessment practice, including understanding the principles and processes that underpin effective assessment, applying methods to evaluate occupational competence in work environments, and assessing vocational skills, knowledge, and understanding in training contexts. These areas ensure learners develop both theoretical understanding and practical ability to carry out fair, consistent, and evidence-based assessment decisions.

Upon successful completion, learners demonstrate a clear understanding of assessment principles and practices, along with the ability to assess occupational competence within workplace settings. They also develop the capability to evaluate vocational skills, knowledge, and understanding in structured training environments. Together, these outcomes ensure professional assessment competence aligned with Level 3 standards.
