To enrol in the QUALIFI Level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate, learners must meet the following requirements:

• Have work experience in the health and social care sector and demonstrate ambition with clear career goals.
• Possess a Level 2 qualification in another discipline and wish to transition into or advance their health and social care career.
• Be aged 19 or above.
• Have a good understanding of ICT.
• Show sufficient capability to meet the learning and assessment criteria at the appropriate level.
• A workplace assessment is required and will be carried out in practical care settings.
• Non-native English speakers must demonstrate a minimum level of English language competency.*

These criteria ensure that learners are well-prepared to succeed in the course and in their future roles within the adult social care sector.

Progression

Completing the Qualifi Level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate will enable learners to progress to:

• Qualifi Level 3 qualifications.
• Other related higher-level qualifications.
• Employment in an associated profession.

This qualification is accredited on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) and holds a unique Qualification Accreditation Number (QAN): 610/4201/8. QUALIFI is an awarding body approved and regulated by Ofqual (Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation), reference RN5160.  Ofqual makes sure qualifications meet high standards, while QUALIFI ensures the course is reliable, quality-checked, and meaningful for your career.

All units of the Qualifi Level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate are internally assessed by Inspire London College and externally verified by Qualifi. This occupational, competence-based qualification assesses both practical skills and knowledge. Skills-based learning outcomes are evaluated in a real work environment, while knowledge-based outcomes are assessed through written assignments completed away from work. Learners are required to prepare a Portfolio of Evidence, which is reviewed and quality assured internally.

Assessment methods include written assignments and coursework, witness testimonies from managers or colleagues, direct workplace observations, professional discussions, and work product evidence. Practical assessments may involve an assessor visiting your workplace, with additional charges for special arrangements if required. To pass each unit, learners must provide sufficient evidence that they have met all learning outcomes and assessment criteria.

Upon successfully passing the qualification, the learner will get an Ofqual Regulated Certificate (Hardcopy) from Qualifi, an Ofqual Regulated Awarding Organisation.

The course fee includes the certificate, transcript, and standard postage only for the Qualifi Level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate.
