The OTHM Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Accountancy is aimed at those who want to study for a foundation degree in accounting. Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Accountancy has been developed to provide a route that will enable students to gain the knowledge they need to succeed in their chosen profession. This Foundation Diploma in Accountancy prepares students for entry-level positions in the field of accounting and helps them develop the essential skills employers require. The OTHM Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Accountancy consists of 3 mandatory units for a combined total of 60 credits, 600 hours of Total Qualification Time (TQT) and 240 Guided Learning Hours (GLH) for the completed qualification.

The objective of the OTHM Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Accountancy is to provide learners with a foundation for a career in various organisations concerning financial management and accountancy. It is designed to ensure that each learner is equipped with accountancy knowledge and the skills to adapt rapidly to change and progress with their learning.
Successful completion of the OTHM Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Accountancy provides learners with the opportunity for academic progressions to a wide range of undergraduate programmes, including the Level 4 Diploma in Accounting and Business or employment.
All units within accountancy courses UK online are internally assessed by Inspire London College and externally verified by OTHM. The qualifications are criterion referenced based on the achievement of all the specified learning outcomes.
To achieve a ‘pass’ for a unit, learners must provide evidence to demonstrate that they have fulfilled all the learning outcomes and meet the standards specified by all assessment criteria.
