Requirements

To enrol on this qualification, learners should meet the following requirements:

  • Be aged 19 years or above at the time of enrolment.
  • It is recommended that learners hold one of the following assessor qualifications:
    • Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment
    • Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement
    • A1 Assess Candidate Performance Using a Range of Methods
    • D32/D33 Assess Candidates’ Performance / Use Different Assessment Methods
  • Learners completing the Plan, Allocate and Monitor Work in Own Area of Responsibility unit must be actively involved in coordinating internal quality assurance or internal verification of accredited learning.
  • Learners must be in a suitable role that allows them to demonstrate the requirements of the qualification in practice.
  • Access to an appropriate assessment environment, relevant resources, and assessment opportunities is essential.
  • Non-native English speakers must demonstrate a minimum level of English language competency*.
  • An initial assessment to confirm the learner’s suitability and ability to study at Level 4 before enrolment.
