• Learners must be employed or working as a volunteer in a health and social care organisation for workplace assessments.
• Have work experience in the health and social care sector and demonstrate ambition with clear career goals.
• Possess a Level 2 qualification in another discipline and wish to transition into or advance their health and social care career.
• Be aged 16 or above.
• Have a good understanding of ICT.
• Non-native English speakers must demonstrate a minimum level of English language competency.*
• Show sufficient capability to meet the learning and assessment criteria at the appropriate level.

The NOCN Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of End of Life Care carries the Qualification Accreditation Number (QAN):610/4165/8, shown on the final certificate. Learners can verify this qualification on the Ofqual Register of Regulated Qualifications for verification and further details.

This qualification is accredited by NOCN Qualifications, an Ofqual-approved and regulated awarding body (RN5194). Ofqual ensures high standards and public confidence in vocational qualifications, while NOCN implements robust quality assurance processes to maintain the integrity and reliability of its certifications.
