Assessment is completed through a portfolio of evidence, allowing learners to demonstrate their knowledge, understanding, and leadership skills in line with required standards.
This qualification uses a combination of competence-based and knowledge-based assessment methods. Competence-based assessment takes place in the workplace and may include direct observation, professional discussions, reflective accounts, work products, and witness testimony. Knowledge-based assessment is demonstrated through written assignments. The iCQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care is a fully accredited qualification regulated by Ofqual (Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation).
